Nonin 7500 Pulse Oximeter
The Nonin 7500 Pulse Oximeter was developed to establish a new corporate design language and to convey the superiority and functionality of Nonin sensor technology.
The three part enclosure reduced assembly times from 1.5 hours to 15 minutes by utilizing a single circuit board design, incorporating a combination gasket/keypad component and eliminating the need for adhesives. The 7500 passes IPX2 and exceeds all drop test requirements on all six sides.
Medovex Streamline IV Suspension System
A multipurpose transport system combining the advantages of both a stand-alone and bed-mounted IV pole in one system. The system is designed to attach and securely lock to many transport devices; beds, gurneys, carts, and even wheelchairs.

ScotchBlue™ Hand Masker
The ScotchBlue™ applicator is based on existing 3M intellectual property that allows the masking of moldings and walls from both sides of the dispenser. Using a combination of angled side walls, tapering wheels and
highly toleranced tape, precise masking can be achieved.
The overall form is driven by the ergonomics of use and patented functionality, while the aethetics enhance and reinforce the Scotch-Blue brand.The two part housing utilizes snap-fit tabs for convenient tape replacement and a cut-away top to allow the user to ‘brake’ the roll for
easier tape cutting.

The Empi Active device was designed to be as unobtrusive as possible yet provide accessible and intuitive user input while being worn under clothing.
Advanced technology, careful configuration design, detailed attention to materials/manufacturing processes and diverse design language development contributed to the device’s immediate success. The advanced,wire-free functionality, percieved value and diminutive size (2.5”x 2” x .5”) have made the Empi Active a run-away favorite among doctors, PAs and more importantly, pain management patients.

Hand-held controller that was re-designed to reduce insurance liability for a $1B corporation. Utilizing ergonomic principles and rapid prototyping the resulting controller successfully addressed issues related to repetitive stress injuries.
SURVEYOR 3D SCANNER
Structured light projection technology captures all viewable surfaces of small to medium-sized objects. Versatile enough for inspection and reverse engineering applications, and speedy enough for factory floor verification uses.
Integrated software enables fast, accurate, graphical comparisons between digital reference models and as-built parts for first-article inspection.

SenSmart System
"An innovative design that pairs simple with smart, Nonin SenSmart Model X-100 Universal Oximetry System is the first system to deliver both pulse and cerebral oximetry measurements..."
Designed to provide a side-by-side view of cerebral oximetry (rSO2), pulse oximetry (SpO2) and pulse rate values for real-time decision making. Sensor connectivity and a color coded interface allows clinicians to monitor up to six sites on a patient with state-of-the-art accuracy.
Blood Analysis System
To allow our client to pitch their concept to investors, without spending thousands of dollars on physical prototypes, photorealistic renderings and schematics were created to illustrate the system components.
Within a matter of days, preliminary aesthetic design sketches, a SolidWorks 3D CAD model, user interface vector art for the LCD display and the final renderings conveying color, finish, and materials were generated.

DT2000 Wall Pass-Thru Collection System
The wall pass-thru collection system was designed exclusively for McDonald’s Corporation to help fund the Ronald McDonald House Charities. The purpose of the system is to collect proceeds from restaurant patrons during drive-thru order fulfillment. The coins and bills deposited into the exterior receptacle are routed to the interior of the building where the money is safely stored before being collected by a licensed third party collection agent.
The design expands upon an exterior-only collector that was implemented over 15 years ago. The original receptacle required a store employee to empty the box every night from the exterior of the building. This task was often neglected which ultimately led to the theft of the device and the proceeds. With a loss of 30%-40% of collections per year, McDonald’s commissioned a more secure and more aesthetically appropriate system that would store the proceeds away from the general public.
The final system employs a die-cast Zinc collection scoop, steel mounting plate, expanding inner-wall liner and a dual-lock access panel on the interior of the building. The four component assembly accommodates multiple building styles and construction methods. All the parts are specified to withstand environmental abuses including UV exposure, hot and cold temperature extremes, exposure to chemicals and cleaning solutions, and most importantly, resistance to tampering.
